These companies will typically have many of the following characteristics:

• Commercially available, shipping product or service
• Technology and product validation from third parties, primarily customers
• Growing, high margin revenue stream
• Large market opportunity with favorable industry dynamics
• Defensible competitive position
• Core management team in place
• Operating leverage and capital efficient business model that is at or near profitability

Tudor Ventures will also invest in special situations involving:

• Consolidation opportunities
• Corporate spin-outs
• Management-sponsored buyouts
• Leveraged acquisitions
• Founder's liquidity or recapitalizations

We typically invest $7 to $15 million per opportunity. Our portfolio companies typically have at least $10 million of annual revenue at the time of our investment.
